Paul Diegert

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Duke University. In the coming academic year, I will join the Toulouse School of Economics as an Assistant Professor.

I am a labor economist working at the intersection of labor economics and microeconometrics. In my research, I study how the changing skills and preferences of workers are reshaping labor markets, and the distributional consequences of these transformations. In related methodological research, I am working on the identification and estimation of latent variables and learning models, and sensitivity analysis for linear regressions and treatment effects models.
